Belfast Gigs (“we”, “the app”) is a private, invite-only community app for discovering local gigs, RSVPing, sharing resale tickets, and related features. Contact: support via your community admins or the address listed in the App Store / Play listing.
Account details you provide or that your sign-in provider shares: email address, name, and (if you use Google/Apple) profile photo. Mobile number if you add one (used for ticket resale WhatsApp contact and optional WhatsApp profile photo). Photos you upload as an avatar. RSVPs, ticket listings and notes, events you add, calendar add requests, notification preferences, and push notification tokens. Basic technical data needed to run the service (e.g. crash/diagnostic data from the OS or our providers).
To create and manage your account; show your name/photo to other members (e.g. who’s going, ticket listings); enable WhatsApp contact for resale when you list a ticket with a phone number; send push notifications you opt into; add gigs to your device calendar when you ask; improve reliability and security. We do not sell your personal information.
Other signed-in members can see profile fields you make visible in-app (e.g. display name, avatar, RSVP status, listing notes). If you list a ticket with a phone number, other members can open WhatsApp to contact you. We use processors such as Firebase (Google) for authentication, database, storage, and related infrastructure. We do not share your data for third-party advertising.
Camera / photo library: optional, for your profile picture. Calendar: optional, only when you choose to add a gig to your calendar. Notifications: optional, for reminders and community alerts you enable.
We keep your account data while your account is active. You can delete your account in Profile → Delete account. That removes your Firebase Auth account and associated profile, RSVPs, and ticket listings we store. Some backups or logs may persist for a limited time. Content you shared that other people still need (e.g. an event you created as an admin) may remain.
The app is intended for adults in a private community. It is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country).
We may update this policy from time to time. The in-app / web version is the current policy. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
Questions about privacy or data requests: contact your community admins, or use the support contact on the App Store / Google Play listing.
